How do I embed a PDF on my website?
To embed a PDF on your website, upload your document to Linkjar, then copy the embed code from the Embed option and paste it into your site's HTML. It's free and takes about ten seconds.
How to embed your PDF
- Upload your PDF on the Embed PDFs page. You'll land on the PDF's settings page.
- Go back to your dashboard and click Embed on the document.
- Copy the embed code and paste it into your site's HTML where you want the PDF to appear.
That's it. Your PDF will show up on the page using a lightweight iframe backed by Linkjar's browser-native viewer, so it renders consistently on desktop and mobile without needing any plugin. Because the embed points to your document rather than a specific file, it always shows the latest version even after you update the file
What you can customise
- Display mode: choose standard PDF, flipbook, or presentation from the settings page, and the embed updates automatically.
- Download: turn the download button on or off for each document.
- Branding: remove the "Shared with Linkjar" corner mark on any paid plan.
- Dimensions: since it's just an iframe, you can style the width and height with your own CSS.
Is it free?
Yes, every PDF you upload gets an embed snippet at no cost. Paid plans add things like more documents, larger file sizes, a custom domain, or removing the Linkjar corner mark.
